Poetry in the Woods (PITW) 2026:
Register for the AWP Off-site, Open-air, No-mic, Poetry Hike in Baltimore @ Patapsco Valley State Park (Soapstone Trail). Thursday, March 5th starting @ 6:30AM - 8:30AM EST. Rideshare may be available.

Start your AWP with a 2-mile hike in Patapsco Valley State Park led by PITW Program Coordinator, Travis Mossotti! A ten-minute drive from Baltimore Convention Center, there will  be a chance to share poems and participate in a trailhead poetry reading after the hike @ 8:00AM.

Can't make the hike but would like to share poetry? Trailhead reading @8:00AM is ADA Accessible with plenty of free parking. Additional overflow parking is available off Rolling Road at the Park n Ride lot.
